Emerging Limpopo artist, Dr. Nel, has died. Reports reaching us indicate that the artist succumbed to fatal injuries sustained during an apparent attack in Lephalale. The incident that claimed the life of the emerging star occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 2.
The demise of the artist came as a shock to many local residents, as just a few hours earlier he had hosted a live video stream on Facebook showcasing his performance. Hours later, he was reported dead, allegedly attacked on his way home.
No suspect has been arrested but the authorities have assured all of their desire to bring the culprit to justice and they are asking anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact their nearest police station.
Until his demise, he was known for hits like Bana Ba Baloi and “Ke Happy” ft. Mexican boys.
