Gagasi FM has suspended one Felix Hlophe following the viral video of the on-air personality harassing his wife.
The event occurred on December 24 after Felix Hlophe had an argument with his wife, which caused her to flee their home to a neighbour’s house. In the heat of the dispute, Felix Hlophe followed her to the neighbour’s residence and began hooting nonstop. The neighbours were forced to call the police, who later arrived to stabilise the situation.
Although Felix Hlophe issued a statement acknowledging his wrongful behaviour and stating that he and his wife had chosen peace over drama and were doing everything possible to reunite their family, pressure began to mount on Gagasi FM to take action against one of its leading presenters for his rude and unpleasant behaviour.
In the early morning of 29 December 2025, Gagasi FM announced the temporary of Felix Hlophe. In the statement, the radio station revealed that the suspension of the presenter will allow the station to further access the situation being reported on social
media and in various publications, and to give Felix the space to attend to
personal matters requiring his attention.
