Mdu Aka TRP’s last performance at The Hangawt 1632 was fire and thankfully, they are letting the energetic set fly via this newest mixtape.
Recorded 11 July 2025, this tape is a perfect look into the curatorial prowess of Mdu Aka TRP and you will love it. Mdu Aka TRP is arguably one of the biggest producer in the Amapiano music scene. As his sound matures and his catalogue deepens, he continues to dish out mixes and solo productions that serves as a compelling statement of his sound evolution and signature style.
A couple of days back, he was at The Hangawt 1632 corners and for once in a long time, we get an unfiltered access into his locked productions as there were mostly the tracks playlisted on the set.
With a runtime of one hour, Mdu Aka TRP’s recently restructured soundscapes are beginning to make full sense, setting the tone for what is expected to become one of the defining sounds in the entire Amapiano scene.
