
Mick Man has reconnected to his soulful roots with the delivery of “Uminathi,” a collection of bangers he dedicates to his daughter.
Mick Man is one of the most exciting soulful names in the Amapiano music space. Starting as a bedroom producer with just a handful of mixes and remixes that added some unique piano flares to fading records, he has since transitioned into a full-fledged producer and DJ with tons of singles and collaborations attached to his brand.
The previous years have been redefining for the soulful Prince. Aside reworking on his soulful soundscapes, he also seem to have expanded his production scope and now, he is back with a whole new approach to his production techniques with the delivery of his new album, Uminathi.
“Uminathi” is made up of 17 tracks and it boast of collaboration with the likes of De Mthuda, Zar Keyz, Ciniso, The Bless, Smaki 08, Faith M, WKA Rikko, Sfarzo Rtee, Starr Healer, Caramelized Music, Nathii Keys & Bandros, Kelvin Momo and Djy Jaivane. “Uminathi” is dedicated to Mick-Man’s daughter and as someone with great affection for his offspring, he poured out his mind, creating a collection that celebrates both the traditional soulful sound that have stood the test of time and contemporary styles and melodies that are adding extra spice to the Amapiano sound.
