Fresh off the heels of ‘Ex yami iyajola,’ Ntokzin continues to shape his brand and presence within Amapiano Music, teaming up with some of the genre’s biggest faces, Azana & De Mthuda, for another evolving record called “Bawo.”
Ntokzin release break post COVID-19 really impacted his brand negatively. The man was poised to dominate the Amapiano scene, only for him to vanish into the thin air. Better late than never, we are glad that he’s back to reclaim his lost territory and influences with the release of more stunning bangers. Out today is a new track from his corners and this track hits with an assertive attitude and festival-ready power, one that we don’t get to experience too often.
Featuring Azana & De Mthuda, “Bawo” is an instrumental offering that is driven by impactful percussions and powerful bass, and the sultry vocal insertions of Azana.
Ntokzin wasn’t doing nothing during his time off in the release front. He was cooking a new sound and redefining his soundscapes. In an attempt to capture the essence of this rebranded sound, he’s crafted this captivating track that samples his flawless use of piano percussion, synths, along with Log drums.
