Scotts Maphuma is now one of the biggest name in the Amapiano scene, and dancefloor anthems are now second nature for this vocal king, who has reunited with undergroundKings, DJ King Tara & Soulistic TJ for a new single, “Combo.”
DJ King Tara was the first the introduce us to the talents of Scotts Maphuma through his numerous productions. Before Scotts Maphuma became a household name in South Africa, only a few producers were willing to work with him and DJ King Tara & Soulistic TJ were some of those who believed in his craft from the get go. Before the whole fame, they have released a number of bangers together such as ‘Vocal 1,‘ ‘Mhlaba Wonke‘ and ‘Yey.’
“Combo” is the newest from them and I won’t lie, it feels like a collaboration made in melodic heavens. The percussion on this drop is tight, the chords is addictive, and Scotts Maphuma’s vocal mastery truly shines.
