During the early days of House music in South Africa, record labels usually released compilations in a bid to captivate the minds of listeners. These compilations, typically a collection of tracks from a vast array of talented producers, provided the perfect vibes and a well-balanced melodic experience, much like an album. However, due to the greed of most labels, the culture of compilations was gradually abandoned. But now, with a better understanding, this culture is being revived.
‘SculpturedRecords Sampler V1’ is the latest from Sculptured Music and this one is a collection of eight essential house melodies that will elevate spirits, and resonate with the House listener’s core.
