ShakaMan YKTV has only been in the Amapiano scene for a short amount of time but he’s on pace to keep dominating mainstages and playlist for years and years to come. Making his burst in into the mainstream in mid 2024, the youngster has built a reputation for his creative collaborations and genre-blending sound.
And with thousands of downloads and streams on his mixes and singles, it is easy to see that his rise to the top is no accident. Extending his Boots Academy series, the producer has returned with yet another stunning compilation called ‘Boots Academy Vol. 2.’
‘Boots Academy Vol. 2’ is a hour long take and this one is made mostly of his unreleased IDs, adding to his already exceptional and expanding discography. There’s still much to learn about the Sgidongo sound and it’s through mixes like this do we get to the bottom of the emerging sound.
