Shaun 101 has linked up with his usual collaborators again for another catchy record. Out now is “Oii Bafana” and this one is a collaboration with NTSAKO XVI, DBN Gogo and CowBoii.
A couple of weeks ago, Shaun 101 announced that his Sgubu Saka General 2.0 will be hitting the shelves the first week of January. As tradition demands, the producer is giving us a taste of what is to come with this pre-release single called “Oii Bafana.”
I’ve been impressed with the moves Shaun 101 has been making of late. Gone are the days when he only flex his legendary skills behind the decks. Now, he’s at the forefront of everything Amapiano music and we are loving the new him. Hot today from his stables comes “Oii Bafana,” and this one is a track that shows Shaun 10 as well as the featured artists on this track exploring new territory while keeping their core identity intact.
“Oii Bafana” has given us more reasons why we should grab Shaun 101’s upcoming album and from all indicators, this upcoming project will mark another chapter in a partnership that has blurred the lines between private school piano and Soulful music.
