Thobela FM has released the nominees for the upcoming Sepedi Music Awards 2025. This year’s edition celebrates all creators who have shaped the South African music scene, from Lekompo producers, vocalists, and singers to Gospel artists, Sepedi dance groups, and even comedians. Everyone is being honoured.

This year’s awards came in 23 categories, with Shandesh bagging the most nominations, appearing in seven different categories including the category of Best Lekompo Song, Best Music Video, Best Lekompo Female Artists and more.

Karishma made appearances in five categories while Shebeshxt appeared in four categories, although his alternate stage name, Shebe Maburna was used in place of Shebeshxt on a number of nomination.

To vote your favourite artists, voters are expected to send the name the nominee and category to 47052.
