Thobela FM has just revealed their 10 top songs of 2024 and this is by far one of the most balanced ratings by any radio station as it covers pretty much every genre that defined the SA music landscape in 2024.
Top on their list is Kharishma & Ba Bethe Gashoazen’s ‘Chokeslem,’ and sincerely, we are not surprised with this pick. ‘Chokeslem’ not only dominated the Limpopo airwaves, but it also rocked stages and dancefloors all over the country, amassing over 15 million cumulative streams.
While the sound is of Lekompo origin, a new sound that is taking over the airwaves and big stages in Limpopo, it has the aura of a typical South African banger and it’s no wonder it has continued to amass numbers since its first day of release.
