What many people don’t understand is that TorQue MuziQ never got his fame through releasing original productions, but rather through his numerous renditions of tracks.
It was his unique takes and ability to see what the original creator couldn’t that made him highly sought after in the music scene. Sadly, after attaining massive fame, he stopped doing the very thing that made him a formidable force in the House music scene.
Don’t get me wrong—I’m not trying to discredit his production prowess. Heck, why should I, when some of his productions, such as Call Me with Lioness Ratang and Ntando Yamahlubi, are topping the charts? I’m only saying he shouldn’t have stopped doing what attracted so many to his sound. Thankfully, he’s backtracking, and we are loving it.
Opening his musical year of 2025, he’s here with another episode of his remix series and this one he aptly tags ‘King Of Rotation EP (The Bootleg Chapter 1).’
