It’s no longer news that ShakaMan YKTV will be releasing his first major album since making his headway in the Amapiano mainstream. “The Next Better Kid” which is billed for release May 16 will act as the first proper introduction to the Sgidongo sound.
As tradition demands, Shaka YKTV is unveiling today the tracklist of the forthcoming album. Built solely on the Sgidongo soundscapes, The Next Better Kid will hold 17 tracks that includes but vocal and instrumental offerings.
The upcoming album will include two already released tracks, “Hola” with ANCHORBEE DJ SA, RishBeats & Nkukza SA and “Jaiva Ka Nje” featuring Scotts Maphuma & CowBoii.
With the release of the The Next Better Kid album, fans can anticipate a work of arts that captures the true essence of the Sgidongo sound, promising a departure from ShakaMan YKTV’s hardcore style by embracing the simplicity of the Sgidongo sound and the roughness it intends to build when being played.
