When Tycoon released The Tyza Way in 2024, we knew it will only be a matter of time before he drops another follow-up. Made up of 5 tracks, the EP introduced us properly to the undiluted soundscapes of Tycoon and just exactly a year later, he’s back with another episode of the notorious EP series.
“The Tyza Way II” consists of 11 tracks, and musically, each one feels like a spiritual successor to Tycoon’s past production classics, refined with a modern twist. It’s classic without sounding dated, and modern without losing the traditional flair and vibes that have defined Amapiano and made it the go-to sound for millions around the world.
“The Tyza Way II” boast of collaborations from the likes of Makhanj, Kelvin Momo, Kabza De Small, Cowboii, MDU aka TRP, TMan Xpress, Soulful Disciple and N T S A K O XVI. And one standout on this project is “Uzongenzani.” Featuring Kelvin Momo & Soulful Disciple, this collaboration summarises the essence of the whole album.
