To be released under the banner of Bab’Motha, this upcoming album will hit stores July 18 and it is already been promoted by the pre-release, “Kabza Chant 2.0” which featured Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, Mthunzi, Nokwazi, Anzo, Mashudu, Murumba Pitch and Tman Xpress.
The upcoming Bab’Motha album will hold 16 tracks and it will see Kabza De Small push uncommon sounds, something he barely do in his project. From the few snippets we have heard, it looks like Kabza De Small will be exploring a bit of the rising Sgidongo sound.
Well, don’t get surprised. Kabza De Small has always been open to working with the sounds that exists within the Amapiano framework and that’s why he still retains his dominance of the Amapiano sound. With Sgidongo coming behind Private school piano and soulful music in relevance, it only makes sense that he taps into the growing sub-genre.
As you can predict, the album will be released through his PianoHub records and distributed exclusively by Sony Music Entertainment.
