Unless an artists welcome us to their house of good melodies, it will be hard for us to know what they are up to. Thankfully, Yumbs is inviting us to his compound of melodies via ‘Yummy’s House Vol.1.‘
Yumbs is arguably one of the most impressive players in the Amapiano scene and there is no denying that he’s among the few who have the power to turn a house of unhappy party-goers into a congregation of elated teenagers. The power of music, am I right? ‘Yummy’s House Vol.1‘ is a collection of 9-track and the melodies contained is feel good music we all need for the season.
‘Yummy’s House Vol.1‘ was promoted by the single ‘Amaphupho’ with Scotts Maphuma, and even though the track tried all of its best to give us a taste of what’s to come, but nothing prepared us for the shockwave that swept our feet when listening to the full album.
Featuring the likes of Nia Pearl, Zani, Makhanj, Teddy Moloi, Zani, Mashudu, Nia Pearl, Candice, Mhaw Keys, Lebo Komane, Zwayetoven & Deeper Phil, this album was really made to get us dancing and as we all know Yumbs, he a figure who is always looking for ways to innovate new rhythms in a bid to bring fresh goodies to the dance floors, and he did just that on ‘Yummy’s House Vol.1.‘
