Focalistic, Shaunmusiq & Uncle Waffles have released their long awaited single, “2 Spin Jikeleza,” and guys, this one is another candidate for the festivities.
Focalistic is one artist who is constantly adding to his teeming collection of Amapiano hits. In the few years since reinventing himself and leaving hip-hop for more dancefloor-influenced sounds like Amapiano, the artist has consistently given us bangers, and his newest single, “2 Spin Jikeleza,” lives up to his versatile reputation.
The track has been teased a couple of times, and we have always known that this one would shake the charts, and we weren’t wrong. It opens with spicy piano elements that will capture the attention of any Amapiano fan, offering a soundscape that cohesively combines the vocal range and songwriting prowess of Focalistic.
It’s not too often we get a Shaunmusiq & Uncle Waffles collaboration on the production side, and I dare say they were able to make room for each other in the production without outshining one another. You will put this one on repeated listen, trust me.
