One of Amapiano’s foremost DJs and producers, Musa Msaro, has died. He passed away in the early hours of October 3. His friends and colleagues have begun paying tribute to the late DJ and producer.
Msaro was one of the most versatile curators around. His Musical Exclusiv mixtape series, also known as AmaNomNom, was a well-curated collection of refined Amapiano melodies. With 39 episodes, the mixtape series brought good music to a broad audience that was becoming increasingly bored with mixtapes and sets curated by celebrities and influencers who had little understanding of music curation and selection.
Msaro’s last appearance was supposed to be at the Deep House Vs Piano All White Vs All Black event today, October 3, 2026. Unfortunately, he will no longer be able to make it.
Tributes continue to pour in for the Amapiano legend. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
