Bongeziwe Mabandla has given us his long awaited album, “Ndingubani,” and this is one of those projects that pulls you out of your depressed mood.
Our football team, Bafana Bafana, lost to Mexico in the 2026 World Cup that is currently being held in the United States of America, which has put many South Africans in a down mood. Well, there is still much hope for us to come out of the group stage and advance to the next round.
While I understand the mood of everyone, we are grateful that today is Friday, so we don’t have to spend the whole groovy weekend feeling down, because one of South Africa’s multi-award-winning singer-songwriters, Bongeziwe Mabandla, has just delivered a comprehensive 18-track album, and this one will not only add spice to your weekend groove but also elevate your mood with its sweet melodies.
“Ndingubani” is made up of 18 tracks, and as someone who is known for his deeply personal songwriting and distinctive voice, he has made this album stand out by blending folk, soul, and African musical traditions to create an album that is wholesome and powerful.
