De Mthuda, Mnqobi Yazo & Kabza De Small have pushed creative and conceptual boundaries of the Amapiano genre with their release of “Sasingenjena.” Well, we weren’t expecting anything less from veterans.
De Mthuda has shifted the release date of his full-length album, Noise, to August 7, and to keep listeners locked into the anticipation, the veteran has delivered this heavy track, “Sasingenjena.” Featuring Mnqobi Yazo and Kabza De Small, the song is built on the rock-solid foundation of Amapiano knowledge and experience possessed by two of the genre’s brightest minds.
Veterans working together and putting aside their differences is what has helped Amapiano remain a leading sound. Like it or not, the genre’s continued growth still depends largely on how united its artists are. What this means is that collaborations between talents further refine the Amapiano essence, resulting in better melodies, as we can hear on De Mthuda and Kabza De Small’s “Sasingenjena.”
