The DJ Ice Flake brand is something I truly find amazing. Not diverting into music production like music DJs do, he has still managed to remain relevant. I sincerely understand DJs who branch into the music production field to solidify the little gains they have made. In fact, it’s a wise move to make, considering how saturated the entertainment scene is.
But branching into music production really does have a way of diverting the attention of DJs. Time that should have been used in sharpening curation, timing, and transitioning skills will be diverted into music making, which is a whole new level of creativity from DJing. So dedicated DJs like DJ Ice Flake who stay steadfast to music curation always turn out to curate even better sets and mixes, and his works are proof of this.
