Super-talented house vocalist and songwriter Rhey Osborne has passed away, his family has announced.
Rhey Osborne was one of the most prominent voices in the house music scene, making it comfortable for vocals to flow with just about any house instrumental while also delivering strong messages.
The singer and composer was known for bangers like “Find A Way” with Enosoul and “Shakara” with Darque.
Cause of Death
Rhey Osborne had been battling a brain-related tumour and cancerous growth for 10 years and underwent brain surgery 10 months ago, in December 2025. Although the surgery was successful, the cancer returned.
Despite all efforts by his family, friends, and colleagues to ensure he survived this round, he succumbed to death. His demise was announced by his family on October 4. The GoFundMe campaign that was opened for him has since been paused.
