Jnr SA has released his long awaited EP, and one of our favourite pick from the project is this Dlala Thukzin & Kabza De Small-assisted record called “Rider.”
A couple of days ago, we announced that Kabza De Small had launched a new label, TechHub, which aims to support Deep House, Soulful House, Afro House, and Tech House talents, with Jnr SA as its first signee. Delivering the first House project under the label, Jnr SA has released his long-awaited EP, Dance To My Afro, and one track that has us in a chokehold is “Rider.”
“Rider” is a pure House offering. I know the presence of Kabza De Small might trick you into thinking it’s an Amapiano record, but it’s not. It’s a pure House offering and a perfect showcase of Jnr SA’s production versatility. It’s also great to hear Dlala Thukzin and Kabza De Small blend seamlessly with the House sound established by Jnr SA.
One thing many people mistakenly believe is that producers are not capable of creating music outside the genres they are associated with, but that’s not always the case. This track by Jnr SA, Dlala Thukzin, and Kabza De Small is proof of that.
