If you ever attended any of Kabza De Small’s live set, your groove life would never remain the same. Some weekends back, he was at the 056 Lifestyle Lounge for its weekly 056 Sunday Affairs party show, and as expected , he gave a powerful set.
Kabza De Small has grown past the stage where he performs just on any corner. With very expensive booking fees and high standards for proper sound quality, only a few bars in Mzansi can comfortably host him, and these bars, by common sense, are some of the biggest in the country.
For Phomolong and the Kroonstad environs, 056 Lifestyle Lounge is one of the biggest and most serene environments, boasting good vibes, food, and exquisite drinks. But will all of these matter to guests without good music being played? I doubt so. And it’s why they are one of the few spots in Phomolong to invest in good-quality sound and guest DJs.
A couple of weekends back, they hosted Amapiano legend Kabza De Small, and as expected, he thrilled listeners with a powerful set that combined the melodies of Amapiano that defined his early days in the scene, as well as sounds that are part of his modern stack.
