After sampling it on many sets and having many guests going gaga, King P has finally delivered his De Rose-assisted song, “Yim Lo.”
I love the way King P is now very expressive with his sound. No more locks. No more hiding as a ghost producer, and now, more songs published. Before now, King P was comfortable making more beats while some others took credit for his hard work. He was also okay with making beats that he locked away in his disc drives, which he only played on his sets.
While there is nothing wrong with this approach as an emerging talent, it deprives deserving artists of collecting their flowers when necessary. Gunning for his rightful position in the scheme of things, King P has become very expressive and bold with his productions, and it’s this expression that has made him team up with De Rose for this emotive single called “Yim Lo.”
“Yim Lo” is out everywhere, and this one has received high praise, with many saying it’s the song for the festivities and declaring that King P has proven he belongs at the top of the Amapiano brass.
