Lekompo’s Rising Producer, Baswele Mfana Has Died

One of Lekompo’s emerging producers, Baswele Mfana, whose real name is Adifele Lastborn Maimela and who was also known as Fuego, has passed away.

Baswele Mfana died in the early hours of April 7, 2026. His manager announced the news in a statement shared on his social media handles. Not many details have been released about the incident, but according to management, the emerging producer died as a result of an unfortunate incident.

Before his passing, Fuego served as a producer and personal DJ to Lekompo sensation Natiey Lepaka. He was also one of the minds behind notable Lekompo bangers, including “Bosso Txe Pedi,” alongside Natiey Lepaka, Kayykayy Production, and Poobington.
