Lowbass Djy has joined Sjo Gee, Cue lone & Djy Vega for this beautifully crafted Sgidongo record, “Bambo Cartel.”
Sgidongo is still a relatively new sound. Despite the success that some songs within the genre have achieved, it is still nowhere near the level of Amapiano. What many people don’t realize is that several promising sounds have emerged from the music scene over the years, only to disappear into thin air shortly after gaining attention.
For Sgidongo to evolve to the next level, where it can comfortably challenge the influence and dominance of Amapiano, it needs more young and creative minds pushing the movement forward. That is exactly the role its pioneer, Lowbass Djy, has taken on through his growing list of collaborations. Most recently, he joined forces with Sjo Gee, Cue Lone, and Djy Vega on a potential scorcher titled “Bambo Cartel,” and honestly, this one is a solid 10.
With many aspects of the Sgidongo sound still requiring greater exposure and development, we are likely to see Lowbass Djy continue nurturing fresh talent while delivering exceptional music alongside both emerging and established artists.
