I think we have found out favourite song on Lowbass Djy’s recent album, Amassing Bass. “Deep Emotions” is it and it is a song that soaks in the whole ewssen of Sgidongo.
When artists release an album, we’d like to give it some days of listening before we eventually handpick our favourite. We do this because some productions are very tricky and would want you to hit the replay a couple of times before you finally catch their essence, and “Deep Emotions” holds similar sentiments.
The song, which was part of Lowbass Djy’s Amassing Bass album, wasn’t our first pick when we skimmed through the album. Because of our experience, we have to wait before giving any song a thumbs up, and after repeated listens, “The One” is the only song that brought us to a standstill. We played the song over and over, and anytime we hit play, the melody keeps getting stronger, just like wine getting more solid the longer it stays stale.
Built on top of the Sgidongo essence, as you would expect, “Deep Emotions” bends elements in a way that influences your emotions. Take a bite below!
