Maero of MFR souls have released his long awaited album, “The Musical Experience,” and I bet you already know that this one will slap hard, judging by the massive acceptance of its pre-release with Kelvin Momo, “Umoya.”
I know many of you are wondering if the music group Mfr Souls is still standing, judging by the way one half of the duo has just released a project without the contribution of the other. Well, all I can tell you is that the duo is very much active, and Maero releasing a project without the contribution of the other half is simply an arrangement and conclusion they have reached to further express their craft. When the time comes for them to give us their signature Mfr Souls melodies, you will be having them put their heads and thoughts together in the studio.
And sincerely, this sort of arrangement is nothing new to music duos in the South African music scene. We have seen similar arrangements with house titans like Artwork Sounds. Each individual who makes up these duos usually has their own flavour, style, craftsmanship, and sound progression, which are best expressed on solo albums, and this is what we are getting with this newest delivery from Maero.
