One of the best things we enjoy from artists in the South African music scene, especially on their birthdays, is new music. Some give fans everything they’ve got, and in the same spirit of celebration, Makhadzi has treated us to a brand-new track titled “Tsotsi.”
“Tsotsi” is a collaborative effort with Ba Bethe Gashoazen. We’ve been seeing a lot of collaborations between the two in recent times, and for good reason. This year alone, they have released several impressive tracks that have performed remarkably well across streaming platforms, and their latest collaboration looks set to continue that streak of success.
We have a lot to say about this release, and sincerely, it’s a beautiful record. Considering that Makhadzi didn’t do much promotion for the song, as it was released as a surprise gift to fans, it has already surpassed expectations with its captivating melody.
