Mas Musiq has put the end the long wait as he finally delivers to us his seventh studio album, “Uju.”
Earlier this month, we announced that Mas Musiq was working on his next studio project. Good news, people, the album is finally out in stores, and guys, this one goes beyond our expectations. Normally, bodies of work delivered by well-known stars usually slap hard, but this one from Mas Musiq tastes so different. The reason is that Mas Musiq has diversified his sound, and the types of vocalists he featured on this album bring a fresh melodic flavour, something most albums released in the scene in recent years have been missing.
Uju consists of 17 tracks and boasts support from the likes of Yung Silly Coon, LeeMcKrazy, Aymos, Thatohatsi, Sino Msolo, Lawd Weezy, Vyno Miller, Xolani Guitars, and many more.
We would have loved to dwell on and dissect the tracks that make up this album, but our ink is getting dry, so we’ll wrap it up here. All in all, this album is solid, a strong collection of bangers from an artist who knows the ins and outs of the Amapiano scene. And as stated in our previous article, this project will reposition Mas Musiq in the scene.
