There is something finally worthwhile for us to feast this coming festivities as Mawelele has just delivered a powerful collection of bangers called “PGLTM.”
When Mawelele broke off his romantic relationship with Naledi Aphiwe, many thought he would not be able to give us bangers again. Heck, this boy is talented. In fact, they both are, and their talent is not exclusively tied to their relationship. After their breakup, they have gone on to individually bless us with a handful of bangers.
Dropping his last work for the year, Mawelele is here with his 16-track album, “PGLTM,” and sincerely, we have always known that the full-length project would be a bang, especially after the pre-release single, “Ngiyaz’fela” with Kwesta & Kinglee Beats, dominated the charts and has continued to do so since it was released a couple of weeks ago, amassing millions of streams. If one piece of the album could be this explosive, then trust the rest to be just as good, and we weren’t wrong.
PGLTM comprises 16 productions that explore all corners of Amapiano and soulful music, yet remain distinctly Mawelele.
