With a knack for producing popular Maskandi offerings such as “Uzofa” with JikiJiki and “Ingajwayelani Kabi,” Mnyovu has been on a remarkable run of releasing original music. Earlier last month, he announced that he would be releasing a full-length body of work set to shake up the Maskandi scene. On his social media platforms, he teased a handful of tracks from the project, and now that it has finally arrived, fans can’t seem to get enough of it.
The name Mnyovu has become synonymous with hit records in the Maskandi music scene. Born Mlungisi Ngubane, the talented young artist from eMsinga, KwaZulu-Natal, has consistently blessed fans with one banger after another, showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Today, he has delivered yet another powerful collection of music through his 15-track album, “Ama-Condom.” The project features contributions from the likes of Inkosi Yamagcokama, Thokozani Langa, uMaumazi, uNgena, Samkelisiwe Ncwane, and Yolokazi. Throughout the album, Mnyovu showcases his versatility as a Maskandi artist, effortlessly exploring different sounds while staying true to his roots.
