The demise of Musa Msaro is big lost lost to not only his family, but the entire Amapiano industry as a whole. As a person who live all of his life for the making of good music, the best way to honour his memory is by pushing his works. Today, we bring you one of his last recorded mixtape.
This tape was recorded alongside rising talent Mlilizeli, and it sees the duo showcase their mastery behind the decks. By mastery, I mean perfect timing, track selection, melodic flow, seamless transitions, and a deep understanding of the energetic vibes the groove demands.
Recorded by Streetly Operations, this compilation offers a more compelling energy than any mixtape you might have listened to in recent times. This is largely because they concoct a blend of new-age sounds with some of the oldest Amapiano melodies around.
Tears have been streaming down my eyes while listening to this mixtape, and it is painful to know that we will no longer be getting mixes from one of the most versatile curators around. May his soul continue to rest in peace!
