Just when we are about questioning his absence, legendary Amapiano producer, De Mthuda has delivered to us this 8-track EP, “Noise.”
The silence of a lord of the Amapiano genre is making some people think they are the ones with firm control of the scene. Well, De Mthuda is setting the record straight with his delivery of a eight-track EP entitled Noise. While this is a small collection of bangers, its tracks are very solid, and I think these are some of the finest productions De Mthuda has cooked up since the start of his professional career.
Don’t get me wrong, De Mthuda is not a figure known for producing bad sounds. In fact, all the offerings he has released since the start of his professional career have always been heavy and solid, but these three new tracks take things to the extreme, as they stretch the producer’s range, leading him to introduce new spicy elements to the essence of Amapiano, and the result is fire!
This EP is made up of 8 tracks that sees him horn the sounds that made him a veteran and lord of the Amapiano sound. Bridging both the old sounds of Amapiano with modern twists and flavours, he has been able to blur the lines that exists between the many grades of piano listeners as well as its sub-sounds.
“Noise” is out everywhere, and for the first time in a while, we a dancing to a collection of Amapiano bangers that truly connects us to the essence of the sound.
