Nontokozo Mkhize is celebrating her 27th birthday with the release of “27:27,” a six track collection of bangers that you are sure to love.
In the Gospel House music scene, no one comes close to Nontokozo Mkhize. From massive gospel hits like “Ngiyohlala” with Thami Mthabela, “Moyongcwele,” and “Uyama Nomuntu” to highly infectious soulful offerings like “Thandolwam” with Kelvin Momo, this versatile talent has continued to prove her essence, and sincerely, she appears to be the next voice not only on the Gospel side of SA music, but also a voice of reason in the melodic soulful space.
Celebrating her 27th birthday, she has delivered this mini-project, “27:27,” and this one is a comprehensive gospel melody spread across six tracks that gives all glory to our Lord and personal Saviour, as well as Nontokozo Mkhize’s personal testimony to God for the guidance and impact He has had on her life from 0 until now.
“27:27” was promoted with the pre-release, “Glory,” a song that has occupied the No. 1 spot across many gospel music playlists and radio charts over the last few weeks. Now that the full project that houses the track is out, we dare say there are even more far bigger bangers contained in the EP.
