We know what Ntencane is capable of doing. When he announced that his next studio album, “Awuyiphumuze” will hit the stores this month of February, we knew it would bang nice, and guys, we weren’t wrong.
For music artists, antecedents matter. You can’t look at an artist who has consistently delivered pure, undiluted melodic bliss since emerging on the scene in 2019 and then convince yourself that they would suddenly release a bad track. Heck no, you can only expect upward growth from them, and this is certainly true for Ntencane.
His newest album, Awuyiphumuze, is a collection of 16 bangers that continue to fuel the intensity and momentum Maskandi is driving in South Africa. While the blocks of tracks on this album follow the typical Maskandi templates, Ntencane also steps into new territory, delivering a potent mix of emotion and fire.
