Philharmonic has always given us bangers and he sure won’t be slowing down any moment from now as he has just served us with this heavy new tune called “Ama Mitha,” and this one is a collaboration with Springle, Pushkin RSA & Lokzin Keys.
The vocalists that inhabit the South African music scene are why genres like Amapiano have continued to reign supreme, not only across the country’s provinces but throughout the African continent. Not to take away from the creativity and ingenuity of producers, heck, they have done marvellously well in crafting sounds that have become the face of Mzansi, and without their willingness to include vocalists on their unadulterated beats, I doubt figures like Philharmonic would have had the opportunity to express their vocal and songwriting prowess.
In case you are not aware, like most sounds permeating the South African music scene, Amapiano was initially strictly instrumental. It was later that vocals were incorporated, and that changed the trajectory of the sound and its dominance in the African music space.
Continuing to bless us with just the right vocal offerings, Philharmonic has teamed up with Springle, Pushkin RSA, and Lokzin Keys for this beautiful song called “Ama Mitha.”
