Royal MusiQ has delivered strong punches to Benzoo, Officixl Rsa & Optimist Music ZA with this powerful collection of bangers called “SZEID.”
When Benzoo, Officixl RSA, and Optimist Music ZA released “Asiwafuni,” we knew deep down that Royal MusiQ wouldn’t sit idle without responding with something even heavier, and it looks like we underestimated the versatile talent. Not only did he respond with a track, but he also creatively attacked Benzoo, Officixl RSA, Optimist Music ZA, and all his critics through 16 melodic tracks delivered across two discs.
Surprisingly, Disc 2 features the “Ama-Rider” single, the song that caused the friction between these young talents. Featured on this one are Focalistic, JayLokas, Mellow & Sleazy, De Rose, 031Choppa, and more, and the result is a powerful album that sends a strong message, the kind that emerges when contrasting musical elements come together in harmony.
Okay, let me be real: “SZEID” has been in the works since 2024. In fact, several tracks from the album were among the leading playlisted songs on Amu Classic & Kappie x Mellow & Sleazy’s Umzonkonko Vol. 4. After promising to release the album ever since then, Royal MusiQ finally revisited the project, refined its melodies, and turned it into the bazooka he’s now firing at his critics.
