The kind of Lekompo music we have always craved for has finally arrived, and this one is brought to us by Shandesh, Boohle & Hitboss SA. Out now is “Lebodhelo.”
If you still think Lekompo is the sound of only those from Limpopo, then you are hell wrong! Lekompo has grown internationally, and it’s now one of the sounds dominating the music mainstream, and we have talents like Shandesh & Hitboss SA to be thankful for. The success of Lekompo means artists of the genre would no longer need to work with only talents of the genre.
With the success of a genre comes broader collaborations. We saw this with Amapiano, when even House legends were collaborating with piano talents. This is the same for Lekompo. Today, two of the genre’s biggest figures have teamed up with Amapiano vocal queen, Boohle, and together, they have released a song that all lovers of good music will vibe to.
“Lebodhelo” is the first major Lekompo collaboration from Boohle, and we are impressed with how she was able to flow perfectly well with the raw productions that were delivered by Hitboss SA. We wish to see more of such collaborations!
