We’re sure that 2026 is going to be another great year for Sje Konka, perhaps even greater than all his previous years combined. We say this because, as early as the start of the year, he has begun rebranding and collaborating with emerging talents. Unlike before, when he was mostly comfortable working solo, he is now doing what is expected of a true Amapiano legend: assembling raw talents with the goal of giving the scene the bangers it deserves.
“Imithandazo” is a result of this recent change in production tactics. The track reminds us of how great the Amapiano sound once was, and it’s beautiful to see the once-revered melody brought back to life in modern times.
