Soultronixx of Artwork Sounds have released a brand new single under his solo brand. Out now is “uMakoti” and this one is a collaboration with Russell Zuma, Mr Shane SA & Hypaphonik.
Whether you like it or not, you must come to terms with the fact that the two members of Artwork Sounds would henceforth be exploring their individual crafts under their solo brands. This doesn’t mean the Artwork Sounds group will be left for dead; heck, they have come out severally to say that the Artwork Sounds duo will continue to exist.
When the need arises, they would come together as a team, and when they individually want to express their craft without the other influencing their sounds, they would go solo, as we have seen in recent times. And believe me, I think this arrangement works just fine. Which other duo that broke up outrightly could have followed this same approach?
Today, one half of the duo, Soultronixx, has delivered a song under his solo banner, and on “uMakoti“, he taps on Russell Zuma, Mr Shane SA & Hypaphonik. Together, they make a song that will certainly reach an additional segment of the house music community.
