I love the unification taking place in the South African music scene. Artists from different genres and backgrounds now freely collaborate with each other, without any diss or beef. Unlike in the past, this Ubuntu spirit will see these talents unite within the scene and take it to far greater heights.
Come May 8th, The Big Hash will be releasing the most defining album of his career, titled “Love Is A Star.” To accomplish his goals, he has collaborated with Sly and Kabza De Small on the project.
Music is a spirit. Regardless of genre, people can easily connect with and relate to it, and this is what The Big Hash, Sly, and Kabza De Small aim to prove on the forthcoming album. Despite their expertise in different genres, their sounds will come together. Coming from similar roots, they will fuse their styles, and the result will be a collection of bangers that transcend borders.
The forthcoming album will be a fusion of Amapiano, hip-hop, Afro-pop, and more. The lead single from the album, “Company,” will be available on all streaming platforms this Friday.
