We knew we were in for deep shit when THE NORTHMOB. and Carlow Picasso released their long-awaited album, “HERE 4 BUSINESS.” Featuring 11 tracks, this project shows us the strength and range of these young talents and their vast understanding of Hip-hop and Trap.
One track from the album that is getting lots of airplay is “ten, toes,” and listening to this one, you can’t help but appreciate the craft in the music. The rhythm, the flows, the hooks, the books, the punchlines, and most especially the subtle jabs, all stitched together, resulted in a song that is both heavy and melodious.
We have been falling deep in love with Hip-hop of recent, and I love the dedication artists of the genre are pouring in, ensuring the sound doesn’t get overwhelmed by Amapiano and Deep House. And for the first time in a long while, we are now seeing Hip-hop songs occupying the top spots on charts.
