House producer, Jnr SA has given his own interpretation to some of Kabza De Small’s biggest productions via “The Remix EP.”
Jnr SA is one producer who continues to take South African music by storm with his hypnotic house music bangers. Merging the old worlds of House with modern changes and twists, he continues to positively impact the scene, and this has also helped his brand.
Giving his House interpretation to some of Kabza De Small’s biggest Amapiano productions, Jnr SA has returned with this four-track Remix EP, and guys, this one is heavy! On this one, he gave his House touch to “Ngyozama” by Kabza De Small feat. Sykes, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, Tracy & Thatohatsi, “Khusela” by Kabza De Small & Msaki, “Abalele” by Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa & Ami Faku, and lastly, Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa & Ami Faku’s global hit single, “Asibe Happy.”
In each of these, Jnr SA unpacks these tracks, moves them through contrasting areas of House Music while keeping the songs’ wider creative melodies and purpose intact. Being a change in genre, I know many of you would be wondering whether there was also some change in the tracks’ theme, but that is not how most remixes are. Jnr SA only just rewired the framework in House melodies and essence, bringing a new peak-time dimension to these once chart-topping releases.
