Tracy Vocals is set to release her first studio project, Azalondwe, a project that will tell stories about her life struggles, hustle, and passion for music.
At first, many people did not fully appreciate Tracy’s talent until she began pushing her own solo singles, where her vocals were placed at the forefront of the beats. Since then, she has been celebrated for her soulful voice, captivating songwriting, and the emotional depth she brings to every performance.
First appearing on the scene in 2022, Tracy has worked with some of the leading producers and singers in the Amapiano scene, including MDU aka TRP, Kelvin Momo, Kabza De Small, DJ Stokie, Sir Trill, and LeeMcKrazy. These collaborations have resulted in bangers such as “Vulani” with Kelvin Momo, Da Muziqal Chef and Thatohatsi; “Ukuphumula” with DJ Maphorisa, Xduppy, Sly & Thatohatsi; and “Ngimtholile” with MDU aka TRP, Zee_Nhle, Thatohatsi and Toby Franco.
With such an impressive catalogue of hits, one might be forgiven for assuming that Tracy already has at least one solo album under her belt. However, aside from her joint album with Thatohatsi, UHAMBO, no solo album has been released under her name.
So, how has she managed to conquer Amapiano dancefloors and airwaves without having a solo album to her name? The answer, I believe, lies in her sheer dedication, craftsmanship, and determination.
Now, finally releasing a project that represents her own identity, creativity, and artistic vision, Tracy Vocals has announced Azalondwe. The project will explore her struggles, challenges, and journey through the music scene.
“AZALONDWE a short story about the struggles of life, Hustle and passion for music mainly based on my alter ego, QUEEN DILIKA the hustler in me,” Tracy says while unveiling the album’s artwork.
