Tracy & Sly have teamed up together for a powerful collaboration via “Xesha,” and guys, this one is a sonic assault that will leave you breathless.
For the first time, Tracy will be expressing herself in her own ways and on her own terms with her upcoming solo project, “Azalondwe.” To be released on October 23rd, this one will come loaded with six tracks, and as per tradition, she has released a pre-release to give us a taste of what is to come.
Known for her superb vocal delivery, Tracy bestows her angelic poise onto “Xesha,” delivering a track, with assistance from Sly, that puts on full display her craft and prowess.
“Xesha” is only a piece of what is to come. If you like this one, then you sure would love every piece of her upcoming solo EP, “Azalondwe.” For the first time in a long while, we will be listening to a whole Tracy initiative without the shadow of Thatohatsi, and I believe this is the whole purpose of the upcoming solo project.
I won’t lie, the pairing of Thatohatsi and Tracy gave us some of the biggest bangers. Records like “Bo Gogo [Magical Remix]” and “Ngyozama” with Sykes, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, and Kabza De Small are still some of the finest piano records ever released. With the upcoming “Azalondwe” EP, Tracy is proving to us that she can do it alone, and even better!
