When you have the first Njelic & Leehleza together on a track, you just know deep down that you are in for a bumpy ride. And this is true for WAV. 2, a track that was produced by Triple X Da Ghost, Effected & Benny Maverick.
The first person, or should I say people, to put their voices on a piano instrumental and make it a norm were Njelic and Leehleza. Back then, incorporating vocals into raw piano beats felt really strange because the norm was pure instrumentals with strong Kota influences, and listeners loved it just like that. But Leehleza changed the story with his “Umshove” single with Kabza De Small, as well as “Bamba La” with Kabza De Small and Stokie.
Now, it’s hard to find an Amapiano song without strong vocal backups and background vocals, and we will forever be thankful to these pioneers. Still sharing their wealth of experience with the modern dancefloor, Njelic and Leehleza have joined Triple X Da Ghost, Effected, and Benny Maverick for this stunning new single called “WAV. 2.”
“WAV. 2” is the lead single on the recently released EP, WAV. SZN, and this one showcases the versatility of Triple X Da Ghost, Effected, and Benny Maverick, blending elements of Private School Piano, Sgidongo, and more.
