The Chauke has finally issued a statement regarding the unfortunate accident that claimed the life of their grandchild, Onthatile Gladys Chuene and also had their son and daughter in-law hospitalised. This comes hours after Northern Academy’s condolences to the Chauke family.
In the statement, the family confirmed the demise of Shebeshxt’s daughter and asked that the family be given space and time so they can deal with the unfortunate event.
“It is with deepest sorrow that we confirm that our beloved son Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, also known to his fans and supporters as “Shebeshxt”, had a tragic motor vehicle accident on 8 june 2024. The accident unfortunately claimed the life of his beloved daughter Onthatile which has caused utter grief and shock as she was the angel that warmed up all our hearts. In this time of grief, we appeal for your empathy, consideration, space, and time to deal with this unfortunate tragic news during this difficult time. Katlego is currently alive and in hospital receiving medical attention.” – Part of the Statement reads.
Health Status of Shebeshxt
Shebeshxt is said to be in a stable condition, although he suffered a broken leg, an abdominal fracture, and head injuries as a result of the car impact.
