JayLokas Postpones the Release of Lokii 2 album Due To The Untimely Death of His Son, Reamogetse

JayLokas has postponed the release of his upcoming Lokii 2 album as a result of the demise of his son, Reamogetse.

Lokii 2 which was scheduled to hit stores this October will act as the second studio album of the young producer. In honor of his late son, Reamogetse, Jaylokas has postponed the album release and instead will be releasing an E.P titled Reamogetse on 8 November 2024.

This upcoming EP will be a heartfelt tribute to his beloved son and a gift to his loyal fans.

‘Dear Fans of JayLokas, It is with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of the release of The Lokii 2 album, originally scheduled for this month. This decision comes in light of the tragic passing of JayLokas’s son, Reamogetse. The Maloka family and JayLokas would like to express their deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and support they have received during this difficult time. In honor of Reamogetse’s memory, we are releasing an E.P titled Reamogetse on 8 November 2024. In order to mourn his son the right way, Jaylokas has announced that the cancellation of all gigs from November 2 to November 23. All Jaylokas bookings from this time interval will be handled by Djy Zan SA.

‘We also want to inform you that all confirmed performances by JayLokas from 2 November to 23 November will be managed by Dj Zan SA. We kindly ask for the cooperation of our event coordinators and fans as the family navigates this period of mourning.’ – the statement further reads.
